Women Empowerment and Advocacy:

CEMCOD recognizes the importance of gender equality in community development. The organization focuses on empowering women, particularly in rural areas, by providing media literacy programs that give them a platform to engage with local, national, and international media channels. It supports women’s voices in advocating for their rights and participation in decision-making processes. In particular the organization aims to build the capacity of female community reporters and emerging leaders addressing their digital and physical security for inclusivity in a democratic dispensation.
