On 17th September 2025, Master Peace Uganda, CEMCOD, Digital Grassroots Youth Hub and Hubcast hosted an online webinar to discuss The State Of Unemployment in Uganda.

The Keynote speech was delivered by Professor Noeline Kirabo, a Business Development Consultant, coach and mentor. She dwelved on the importance of acquiring relevant digital and business skills to thrive today. With an evolving workspace, youth are encouraged to attain skills that can help them work effectively and effectively at their work places.

The keynote speech was followed by discussions on how to leverage digital platforms and technology to increase employability. This was delivered by Digital Youth Grassroots Hub Digital Skills trainer Tumwine Edward. This was preceeded by a discussion on how to utilize agriculture and the opportunities in farming for employability. This was delivered by Miss Lynn Afoyorwoth, a passionate Agriculturalist empowering communities through sustainable farming and poutry production. She spoke on the different farming activities youth can engage in that can provide sustainable living.

Enock Nsubuga, a Social Entrepreneur and Programs co-ordinator at Master Peace Uganda introduced and launched the 45 days Whatsapp based boot camp. This boot camp will help youth aged 18–35 gain employability skills and land jobs, targeting an 80% placement rate.
